The Distributed Thought Mission Statement:

Distributed Thought is a not-for-profit organization that aims to promote research and teaching in the area of Computer Science, Electronic and Electrical Engineering. Our activities include: organizing academic events, providing travel stipends to support international researchers and small-scale funding of research initiatives.
Distributed Thought seeks to promote its mission objectives internationally, offering equal opportunities to researchers across the world. We are an open organisation and we publish regular activity reports that summarise our work.

Current Activities:

Apr. 2012: Distributed Thought's Activity Report for 2010-2011 is now available online here. Its been an exciting year!
Dec. 2011: Distributed Thought has donated a total of $1,750 (US) to support the NESEA'11 conference. The money will be used to provide free registrations to students and volunteers.
Sep. 2011: Distributed Thought sponsors IEEE NESEA'11 in Fremantle, Australia on Dec. 8th and 9th 2011. Details at:
